Customer Comission #2 Step 1: Removing paint with blowtorch For the first step, I'll have to remove the paint that's on the surface. Since the paint is an oil-paint, which is notoriously known to be quite a hard paint to remove, I'll have to use a blowtorch and some paint scrapers to do the job. I'll also be using a respirator mask and protective eyeglasses to protect myself from toxic fumes and from anything hitting my eyes. After hours of trying to get as much paint off as possible, the end result looks like this: Step 2: Sanding As you can see in the picture, there's still some paint left so I'll need to do some sanding. But before I can start sanding, I need to put on a dust mask and some protective eyeware. For the furniture, I'll be using a sandpaper as well as a sander (with a grit level of P100 for the paper and P120 for the sander ) to remove leftover paint and smoothen the surface.
