I was tasked at installing a fiberglass wallpaper, so here is a step by step guide on how I accomplished this. Here is what I'll need: - Protective gloves - 50mm paintbrush - Paint rollers (a small and a big one + a corner paint roller) - Utility knife - Measuring tape - Wallpaper leveler - Spreaders (=teräslastat) of differing sizes - Scissors - Pencil - Ruler - Spirit level (=vesivaaka) - a Rag, a sponge and a bucket of water - Fiberglass wallpaper - Tasoitetapettiliima "Even" (Kiilto Pro) - Wall paint "Trend 7" (Teknos) - Universal filler "Presto LF+" (Tikkurila) Step 1: Preperations - Before I can start installing the fiberglass, I first remove and cleanup the baseboards of any leftover filler/paint, from when I had added oversmoothing/ painted the walls. For this I used a knife to remove any lumps. Then I moved onto removing any unnecessary tape from the baseboard, so installing the fiberglass would be easier.  I was tasked with adding drywall taping to the walls of this room. Step 1: Preperations What I'll need: Protective paper Scissors Masking tape Different sized spreaders Tikkurila's Presto J (Filler) First things first, I'll need to add coverings to the floor and tape them into place. After I've done that, I noticed that there were screws showing through the wall near the window. So before I could add the taping, I had to cover the holes screws with filler. For this, I used Tikkurila's Presto J and a small spreader to evenly coat the surface. I can then move onto the next step. Step 2: Adding drywall taping What I'll need: Different sized spreaders Tikkurila's  Presto J  (Filler) Paper drywall tape I'll be using the same filler as I did with the holes from the first step, but for the spreaders I used a 20 cm and a 25 cm one. The customer had comissioned to have their panel door repainted. For this, I'll need to remove the old paint from the surface. Step 1: Removing the paint What I'll need: a heat gun paint scrapers a respirator mask protective glasses As I've mentioned before I'll need to remove the old paint. Luckily the surface is coated with is an alkyd paint, so the process of removing it wouldn't be that difficult. First thing before I start any task is for me to use a protective mask and glasses to shield myself from any toxic fumes and from anything getting into my eyes. After this I'd move onward to the task at hand, removing the paint. For this I used a heat gun to soften the paint, then I would scrape the surface with a paint scraper.
